The 5-4-3-2-1 Method
Name five things you see, four you can touch, three you can hear, two you can smell, and one you can taste. This brings your awareness into the present moment.Earthing
Kick off your shoes and stand barefoot on the earth. The energy exchange between your body and the ground helps regulate your circadian rhythm, mood, and even inflammation.Intentional Breathing
Try “square breathing” — inhale for four counts, hold for four, exhale for four, and hold again for four. Repeat for a few minutes and notice your heartbeat slowing.
